24 years of mortgage experience. A specialist in Canadian reverse mortgages. And a genuine commitment to helping you make the right decision — whatever that turns out to be.
Licensed Mortgage Broker
Mortgage Alliance Greater Golden Horseshoe
FSRA Ontario License #13121
I have been a mortgage broker and owner for 24 years, and throughout my career, my focus has always been on helping clients make thoughtful, informed decisions around the largest debt they will likely ever carry — their mortgage.
I have always spoken with my clients about balance. Yes, paying down your mortgage matters — but so does building your asset base, protecting your financial future, and creating options for the life you want to live.
For many Canadians, the road to mortgage freedom has not been easy. Rising costs, family responsibilities, and the pressure to pay down debt often meant that the mortgage became the main financial priority. Then retirement arrives, income becomes more limited, and the question becomes: now what?
You may want to stay in the home you love. You may want to invest, support your family, travel, renovate, or simply create more breathing room in your monthly cash flow.
"A reverse mortgage is not the right solution for everyone — but for the right client, in the right circumstances, it can provide flexibility, dignity, and choice."
This journey is one that deserves care, education, and honest guidance. My role is to help clients understand their options clearly, including how home equity may fit into a broader retirement strategy.
My commitment is to approach every conversation with patience, respect, and a full understanding of each client's personal goals, family considerations, and long-term financial well-being.
Experience, licensing, and independence you can rely on.
Certified Canadian Reverse Mortgage Consultant — the designation reserved for specialists who have completed advanced training in Canadian reverse mortgage products and client care.
Over two decades of experience helping Canadians navigate the most significant financial decisions of their lives — with honesty, patience, and care.
Licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario. Operating under Mortgage Alliance Greater Golden Horseshoe, serving clients across Canada.
Not tied to any single lender. We work with CHIP by HomeEquity Bank, Equitable Bank, Bloom Finance, Fraction, and HomeTrust — and we recommend whichever fits you best.
Every conversation starts with listening — not selling.
Every client deserves to fully understand their options before making any decision. We take the time to explain clearly — to you, your family, and your advisors.
A reverse mortgage is not the right solution for everyone. If it is not the right fit for your situation, we will tell you honestly — and help you think through what might be.
We welcome adult children, lawyers, and financial planners into every conversation. The more informed everyone is, the more confident the decision.
Designation
The Certified Canadian Reverse Mortgage Consultant (CCRMC) designation is the only nationally recognized credential for reverse mortgage specialists in Canada. It signals a level of training, ethics, and client-care commitment that goes well beyond a standard mortgage licence.
CCRMC Certified
CCRMC holders complete advanced coursework focused exclusively on Canadian reverse mortgage products — their structure, costs, risks, and appropriate use cases. This is not general mortgage training.
The designation requires adherence to a strict code of conduct. CCRMC brokers are obligated to put the client's interests first — including recommending against a reverse mortgage when it is not the right fit.
Certified consultants understand the differences between every Canadian reverse mortgage product — CHIP, Equitable Bank, Bloom, Fraction, and HomeTrust — and can explain the trade-offs clearly so clients make informed decisions.
Reverse mortgages often involve existing mortgages, estate planning considerations, family dynamics, and legal requirements. CCRMC training prepares brokers to navigate these situations with care and competence.
The CCRMC designation emphasizes client education as the foundation of every engagement. Certified brokers are trained to ensure clients — and their families — fully understand what they are signing before any commitment is made.
The CCRMC credential is awarded by an independent body and is not affiliated with any lender. It is the benchmark Canadians can trust when choosing a reverse mortgage specialist.
Only a small number of brokers in Canada hold the CCRMC designation.
When you work with a CCRMC certified consultant, you can be confident you are speaking with someone who has made reverse mortgages their specialty — not a sideline.
If you are helping a parent, client, or loved one explore this option, you are very welcome to be part of the conversation — at any stage.
I am happy to speak with financial planners, accountants, estate lawyers, and adult children directly. I can walk through the mechanics, the costs, the legal requirements, and the scenarios where a reverse mortgage makes sense — and where it does not.
My goal is always the same: that everyone involved feels fully informed and confident in whatever decision is made.
No obligation. No pressure. Just an honest conversation about your situation, your options, and what might make sense for you.
